Yeah, these cars aren’t pretty underneath. It looks identical to my earlier GT4. That’s the charm about the hand-built nature of them. I’m glad you were able to remove the tensioner without much hassle.

 

What’s that wire taped to the firewall, leading up to the top shelf?

Finally got the seat belts out. Long 17 mm socket needed, very easy. I took the old insulation and carpets and leather pieces (under the seats) out. My car never looked so ugly.

Tomorrow is clean up day. I’ll wash the whole interior as much as I can before refurbishing it. I took a lot of pictures, here are 4 of them.
