I don’t know what that wire does. I checked again today, it’s very loose, comes from the front, lays alongside the sill under the carpet, goes through the fire wall and it gets bunch up with other wires somewhere under the upper oil line. Samething with the white wire (today’s picture, see picture), don’t know what it is.

What’s that wire taped to the firewall, leading up to the top shelf?

Finally got the seat belts out. Long 17 mm socket needed, very easy. I took the old insulation and carpets and leather pieces (under the seats) out. My car never looked so ugly.
Tomorrow is clean up day. I’ll wash the whole interior as much as I can before refurbishing it. I took a lot of pictures, here are 4<int-bas-gau-3.jpeg> of them.
