Michel, that looks excellent!

I may need help from you guys on a new project of mine...

Yes it has black sticky stuff on 1 side and aluminium sheet on the other. For the floor, I feel confident that is enough. But on the firewall behind the seats and on the ’shelf’ touching the rear window, it had that fibre material (1/2” thick) only. I doubt that what I put, advertised as heat AND noise insulation, is enough for that particular area. Too thin for my taste. So, I decided to add some of that new material /fiber found on Amazon. Still waiting for it.

I just need to wait 5 months to see if I like it or not.

Wow, excellent job Michael! Does the stuff have it’s own adhesive on one side, to make it stick to the walls and floor?

I’ll be curious to know how you think it improves the noise and heat levels (once the car comes out of winter hibernation).

I just finished the job for the floor and the firewall (still waiting for the material (fibre) ordered on Amazon to close everything. N<int-arr-2c.jpeg><int-plancher-1c.jpeg>ext is the trunk as soon as I receive everything. The yellow lines show where there was an opening (10” x 1”) originally. I decided to cover it.
