I recently installed a Forza Componenti electronic exhaust valve controller unit on my 2007 F430.

 

It works great!! There are three settings.  1. Normal (ECU controls the valves) 2. Always OPEN

3. Always CLOSED.

 

I like to be able to keep the flaps closed for stealth mode when I'm driving through residential areas

and don't want to draw attention.
