Depends completely on your vantage point… most pessimists I know are quite happy because the are generally right. People love to view other’s foibles from their reality.
I take a dash of pessimism and a spoon of cynicism…. And end up at skeptical empiricist.

Even a pair of short 2” wide nylon straps to wrap around both arms and clip onto built in tabs on the chassis at the front would solve this.
