The only difficult/tedious part would be the side strakes in the door to detail – I’ve heard this from every 348/Testarossa owner. Other than that, the car has nice wide, flat surfaces that would make it a breeze with a polisher.

Next on the list is to turbo the engine. Just kidding!
Cosmetically I need to re-attach the prancing horse on the front grill and I need to replace the cracked hub caps. I also want to spruce up the rear model badge. I am thinking of brushing the aluminum and repainting the black lines. Another thought I had was to add shields to the front fenders.
I also still need to change the oil and detail the car. Not sure if I trust myself on the detailing as it is an art and I am NOT an artist!

Agree totally!
Let’s see some pics and hear about what is next.
You have some nice aftermarket wheels to show off.

It felt pretty good. There are a couple of rattles I need to chase down and I know exactly where one is. There are a few minor cosmetic things I would like to do too but they are low priority and should be easy. I would post pics but I don't want to set off the fraternity.

Very nice!
How did the rest of the car feel?
Any pics?

Was nice to finally get the car out for a ride. Spent the winter mainly working on electronics gremlins and everything appears to be working well.

Peter,
Ha! We have a good friend who is a militant feminist, tree hugging socialist... otherwise a sweet lady.
She doesn't mind having her husband do things for her but only if she is capable of doing those things as well. That part of her quite endearing. She had her Smart car for about 4 years and was glad to be saving the planet in it. When one of the headlights burned out, she took it on herself to fix it. She researched several tutorials on YouTube and dug in for herself. About 4 hours in, she remembered her first Chevy from 70s and how she changed those headlights with 3 screws in 15 minutes. It took her most of the day to put the new bulbs in the Smart car, but she did it. The next day she took it down and traded it in on a Tesla S. After the Smart Car, she's often alluded to the Tesla being too big.
I can't wait to see her response to the May video, I just sent it to her after you jogged my memory on the issue.
She once inquired about the SAE port I have on my Kubota that is there for Battery Tender. I wonder if she'll attempt installing a port on the Tesla herself... or trade it in on a Leaf....

Cool, now I know how to break into the front trunk of Tesla Model S!
Not as bad as changing the headlight bulbs on a Smart car:

Ah, this was enjoyable with my morning coffee, nothing like Captain Slow crapping on his Tesla.
Glad to see that the buffoonery in the design and engineering teams hasn’t changed since I left the industry.
