Funny thing is, I find the rear seats in my GT4 to be roomier and more comfortable than in my Mondial.

I suppose with the GT4, they are set farther apart, as the convertible top mechanism in the Mondial forces both seats right next to each other. That, and the GT4’s seats are curved, allowing the body to fold into it, rather than just sitting on top of two (leather-covered) slabs.

At least the Monidal’s seats fold down to make a parcel shelf which is far more useful. Easily handle Costco’s jumbo pack of toilet paper and paper towels with plenty of room.

With my Mondial, I found the seats to be fairly comfy, if a bit stiff. The only thing you had to decide is if you wanted both knees on the right of the seatback of the front seat, to the left of the seatback of the front seat, or to straddle. Once you click the seatback of the front seat back, you're stuck! :)

I sat in the back of a 911 Turbo on the Ferrari of Washington showroom floor once, and the Porsche was much worse. I had to cock my head sideways because of the roofline, and I'm only 5'7".

I have had a number of cars like that, including a Morgan Plus 4 Plus. The 2
rear seats together were just about perfect for my English Setter.
