They behave the budget to hire the best but as previously mentioned, being too nationalistic is one reason they are stagnating. They have become an embarrassment as a team with their budget and resources languishing in 5th and 6th place at a home race without the pace to compete at all is unacceptable, and McClaren who was languishing takes first and second. McClaren obviously have made much greater strides, and Ferrari cannot? They need to rebuild the team internally starting from the top. Binotto is a great engineer, but from what I have seen he is not a great team leader. Let’s see what happens in 2022 as they stated for the last 2 seasons all of their efforts are going into next years car, if they are not successful out of the gate then clean sheet of paper and fire the entire team._________________________________________________________________Sent from my iPhone- Please excuse brevity or typographical errors. On Sep 13, 2021, at 1:23 AM, Peter Rychel <dino308gt4 [at] hotmail.com> wrote:_________________________________________________________________Yeah, but it was an Italian (di Montezemolo) who had hired the best back then.
Maybe they can’t afford the best now?
Yes, it shouldn’t really matter where a person is from but how they get along with each other and no amount of money in the world can buy that. Your group has to have the right mindset and personalities to get results and every one of them just “clicked” together. They truly were a team from the top down. I think we all can relate to that in our own work places and the people we work(ed) alongside with. There are people who I have the utmost respect for and will never forget the impact they had on me and my career and there are those who I couldn’t give a shit for (hmmm, what was that douchebag’s name?). I’m not kidding myself, I’m sure there are lots of people who could say the same thing about me (I prefer working on my own and I know I rubbed coworkers the wrong way in team settings before).

Yeah, Agreed. This is NOT the Brawn, Byrne, Todt, Schumacher Ferrari.
At one time they went out and hired the best.
Now they just want to hire Italians.
Arrivabene
Mattiacci
Binotto
Cardile (performance)
Gualtieri (engine)
Resta (chassis)
I get it, they want to keep it Italian, more power to them. But it's hurting them. I don't believe in diversity for diversity's sake. Hire the best, regardless of where they are from. It worked for 10 years (96-06).

Hamilton is a little bitch. Should Crashtappen have backed off? Yes. But Hamilton definitely did not leave him enough room. Just prior to the crash you can see Hamilton jump to the outside. He knew he had the advantage and intentionally squeezed verstappen to force him to slow down.
And Ferrari is a shit show. I don't know if they are just an overall shit show or if they just can't figure out how to operate under these increasingly idiotic constraints.

Just saw this on a racing website:
Engineer: Max, you need to finish on top of Lewis
Max: Copy
I am not a big fan of neither Verstappen or Hamilton but glad to see neither hurt while they tussled, just wish Ferrari could have may something more of this! I guess I have t start rooting against Mclaren again after all these years…….I guess Hamilton owes his life to whoever invented that halo…...
