Get a foam one one for your car if mandated just don’t use it, and get one of these. I still have a Halon in both Ferraris but this is what I’ll grab first.

If I remember correctly the technology is from Italy. The reason they are not recognized in this country is because the fire extinguisher lobby is pretty powerful and having a unit that doesn’t need constant attention or servicing, no shelflife etc. threatens the established industry. I personally haven’t tried one in a fire but I’ve heard that they work really well! But there are limits…..

What’s the deal with foam vs powder? I seem to remember powder being bad for cleanup. I know this topic came up a few months ago but I can’t find the discussion. What’s the difference between the two? ( May have to call insurance company and see if powder is acceptable).
