"They"?? As in the popular gauge repair company whose name rhymes with the hometown of H-P? Wouldn't surprise me. They totally F'd up the repair of my speedometer back when I still had the ex-Joe Martz/ex-Steve Cook 308. Somewhere, buried on an old floppy
disk, or CD burned from an old computer, I kept an MS Word doc log of all of their screw-ups and how long and painful that repair finally was. I had the clock from Matt Boyd's 308 repaired at Bob's Speedometer in MI, iirc. I know, I know, not a classy or
elegant sounding business name, but they put new glass in very economically (<$150 all in, as I recall), did it fairly quickly, and most important of all - did it RIGHT. Forget that other "big name" company and give these guys a try. I know they advertise
in HMN, and I think also Classic Motorsport mag. Probably others too, but I just don't subscribe to many magazines anymore.
Remember - just as there's more than one way to skin a cat, there's more than one way to get a gauge or clock for your Ferrari properly repaired. And probably much better ways, at that.
Not that I'm biased or anything. But my shadow will never darken their door again.
FWIW, YMMV, yadda yadda......
gp
p.s. - Nisonger in NY is another solid option. They rebuilt all the gauges for my old Jag and did a wonderful job. They, however, are not "economical"..... 😉
