Yes, you showed me that car before! Awesome. Hey, if I’m ever on the east coast, I’ll take you up on that (besides, I still owe you and Dominic for the 328 help!).

I’ve seen it in real life and the one I saw was the John Scotti car. He had it on display at the Montreal Auto Show and I took these photos (35mm film) back in, I believe it was 1991 or 1992. It was surprising he was allowed to show this “old” car as they had strict orders it was the NEW car show, but, he had a lot of pull and I don’t think any of the organizers wanted to mess with him!

This car is S/N: 40042, the 20th built (serial numbers were out of sequence as they rolled down the line. Hey, whatta you gonna do ‘bout that?!?). The two other Canadian cars are S/N’s 40012 and 40036 (the 25th and 8th built respectively). This blue one you posted, what S/N is it BTW (you can send that to me off-list if you prefer). Not hard to keep track of these as only 52 (or possibly 54!) were ever built.

I just love the menacing look of these with the squared-off arches and deep air dam. Imagine if Ferrari ever commissioned Bertone to do a similar treatment to the 308 GT4!

Yes and they are very substantial in person. Translation - high quality and heavy!

Silhouettes are really cool.

Let me know if you ever want a close up look at one.
