While I have never been a big Corvette fan (besides the 63-67 Stingray) The C8 is a giant leap forward that will have them taken a bit more seriously in the global market. The C7 had a fantastic powertrain and chassis, but the interior was always an issue with most outside the 'Vette enthusiast groups and no matter how well it worked, the transverse leaf spring suspension was sneered at as well. The performance numbers alone will sell this car, and it does seem better put together significantly better that the previous generation. The lack of a true manual may hurt a bit, as Porsche still offers it in most variants, even though the acceleration numbers are better for the PDK.

They delayed the Z06 release because the standard C8 was selling so well.

This model will sellout immediately.
