It’s obvious an electric car can beat at any gas powered car but electric car or Ferrari SUV will never be as cool as, or have the history, or panache of a gas powered Ferrari, especially one with carburetors and a gear lever!
I know that’s where the future headed and anyone that thinks that global warming isn’t destroying human existence (the world will be fine) isn’t thinking critically, but that said my love for these old Ferraris will only increase as the world becomes progressively more electric until we all wiped away just like the dinosaurs.
If I could afford a electric car I would by a Lucid it looks a lot cooler than the Tesla and it doesn’t have a bond villain for a CEO……

Oh Clyde. In a plane, 0.1g just means a slightly higher turning radius. In a car, it means you end up in a guard rail or ditch and the other guy doesn't. That is a big difference in a car.
If you think the team of engineers that built a 1000HP electric car can't sort out the aero needed between 160MPH and 200MPH, you are in for a rude awakening. When they get it fully tested, it will show up on the cars and they will go 200. Then you won't catch it because you will probably never find a straight long enough. And that is probably for the best because you shouldn't be doing 200MPH. You ain't a spring chicken anymore. Oh yea one more thing Tony Since the only thing you know about “Gs” is what you read It’s only .1 of a G which isn’t anything a good ride at Disney World pulls more Gs. But hey you wouldn’t know anything about Gs since you have live your adult life on the ground !

It has a 0-60 of 2.1s and does the quarter mile in 9.4s. The 575 does 0-60 in 4.2s and the quarter mile in 12.3s. So, while you are running away from the inevitable while racing a Tesla, you will spend a lot of time seeing its rear end. When it hits its governor, then you will pass it. But it will already be going 151MPH at the 1/4 mile mark and the 575 takes 1/2 mile and 20.1s to get to 150MPH. It takes 1 mile and 31.4s to get to 166MPH. It will take a quite a while before you catch it. Hopefully you don't encounter corners before then because the Tesla pulls 1.02g while the 575 pulls 0.92g. But, hey, when you need to brake before he does, at least you will have the better brakes.
Make no mistake, it can do 200 or damn close. They are probably governing it due to the brake and/or high speed stability issues. When they are comfortable with the solutions, they will probably offer an upgrade package including a software update. So, yeah, it has issues. But it also cost half what the 575 did new and 3X less than the 575's price in 2022 money. To some people, a Ferrari isn't worth 3X more. To some it is. I only care about what I think.
Always trying to crap on other people's choices or preferences or achievements is not a good look. Enjoy your nice leather seats and superior paint job and stop worrying about who or what is chasing you. It rarely seems to work out.
