Absolutely can't fathom how you can do sub 10 seconds on Firestone
Wide Ovals, regardless of prep work.  Had some on a 1972 Corvette,
they were crap.

Interesting about an engine vacuum pump.  Must be high capacity, as
engine blow by, etc. would have to be a lot.
