Like you... I know cuz we talk in person on occasion, I was the 4AM guy too.
Now, I'm content to watch it recorded. (without getting upset if someone mentions the outcome before I watch it. My laziness doesn't mean others have to curb their enthusiasm)
I watched the first two episodes of Season 1 of "Drive to Survive" and it just seemed so scripted... phony... pretentious. Especially the Ricciardo stuff, which surprised me.
I've had no reason to watch anymore.
The Fangio documentary on Netflix was excellent though, as was Schumacher.
I put the oft neglected DVD player to task as well... Speed Merchants, Senna, Steve McQueen: The Man and LeMans, The Quick and the Dead...
but somewhere I've lost one... What was the documentary from the 70s, 80s where they put cameras on the Formula 1 cars? Most of it was shot during practices, no race footage. They had Jody Sheckter in the 6 wheel Tyrrell without the front body work over his feet. I could watch that all day, now I can't find it.
