You guys are funny.

I read these bits and pieces to Terri.

She laughed – then told me to stay away from you guys.

With that warning . . . . you guys are in!

Cheers

Doug

We have a rental in Gulag Novato – about 30 miles N from S.F.

We’re going to 1031 it for an exchange in downtown Los Angeles trying to follow the brotherly love advice of Gov. Gruesome.

I’m sure the 17 homeless families will appreciate our humble efforts and glory in our woke efforts by taking good care of it.

A hand up not a hand out.

After they burn it down, I’ll sell it to the insurance company.

BUWHahahahahahah

East coast is so 10 years ago... ;-)

A P(r)ius is for those who can't afford a Tesla.

A P(r)ius in front of your house better be your maid or still in college Nanny.

Tesla is (until this week) the poster car of every aspiring woke sub-millennial to millennial out here.  You can walk from one end of Redwood city to the other end of Palo Alto on the roofs of Teslas*.  But the denizens of 1 Hacker Way and 1 Infinite Loop have taken such umbrage with Elon wanting to have true free speech that something like 13,000 Teslas went up for sale in the south bay this week...

Of course with the chip shortage, there is not any real availability of anything to replace them, but never let an opportunity to cut off your nose to spite your face get in the way of one's moral narcissism.  I wonder if they'll want Uber to dump their Tesla drivers??!?  Heaven forbid they have to pay to ride in a Tesla now.

There was a tech session in Morgan Hill this weekend for people who wanted to put range extenders on their Nissan Leafs.   Something like 300 people showed up at the guy's ranch.  Apparently, lots of code warriors don't know which end of a screw driver one uses to pound nails.   FYI, the Leaf range extender is not a battery, it's a device you have to install yourself that modifies your throttle and brake inputs to get more mileage out of your battery.

*20 years ago you could have done the same thing on the roofs of Porsche Boxsters.  We once counted 137 on an eight block walk down Market St. in SF.

You are confusing the Tesla crowd with the Prius crowd.  You are seeing the Prius crowd lose their minds.  Some of the shit out of Robert Reich's mouth lately makes me want to choke him to death.  What an absolute piece of shit human being he is.  Sadly, I know far too many people who take his propaganda as truth.  It is amazing how marxist this country has become.

Yeah but the irony of today's existence where the "lefty save the world Tesla" crowd must now go out and spit on their cars because Elon is trying to buy twatter and kill it's propaganda dept.

Hell, from my viewpoint, it's sardonic.
