I fall toward empirical skepticism…. avoiding innately human tendencies that leave us vulnerable to Black Swans.

It all comes down to whether you want to be a cynic or a skeptic.  I'm just not willing to go full cynic.  In general, I try to avoid that.  I am fine thinking either is possible.  Whether they only care about money or money and winning, I can also say that cynics who assume the worst of others, without proof, are usually guilty of the ethical or moral deficiency, they are ascribing to others, themselves.

That’s a bit naive.  Sure the latter is possible and probable.   But that doesn’t rule out the former.

Ferrari is just fine.

The FIA pay them tons of cash to show up and they still hock their overpriced and ugly shirts to plenty of willing fans.

If you don’t know the game they’re playing, you’re not paying attention.

The F1 team needs more non-Italian men to run the team. Back in the days of Michael Schumacher, a french man (Jean Todt) was running the team with an Englishman (Ross Brawn) and a South African man (Rory Byrne). Since Luca Di Montezemolo and Mauro Forghieri, Ferrari has never been able to find great people from within.

As an Italian, the level of dysfunction on this team makes my blood boil.  The soccer team would be just as bad if I cared as much.
