I feel the same way as Rob. I have had my GT4 for more than 22 years and I would never sell it. It has too much sentimental value. Despite the fact it has been off the road for far too long, That fact doesn’t bother me. The engine will get rebuilt, I’ll get a new set of tires and go through the rest of the items to make it road worthy again. In the meantime, I’m driving the wheels off of the Mondial. It’s such a pleasant experience to just go down to the garage, turn the key and the thing just works with no fuss. I’ve been driving it everyday to work since I got it back from my summer road trip back east. The perfect daily driver if there ever was one and this one is another keeper.

 

Life is good.

I'm sorry to hear that you canceled your order. You're one of my only real friends that I know of that has ordered a new Ferrari. They look pretty amazing and I wish I had the means to have done that myself. I am reminded by a comment from the guy I bought my Ferrari from originally. He had had a string of Ferrari's before the GT for including two consecutive number 275s. I met him at one of the Beverly Hills Ferrari shows years ago. He was always swapping out one Ferrari for another,

And ask if I still had the car. I told him it was a keeper for me and he told me he wished that was one he would've kept he thought it was the best driving Ferrari he ever had. Piero Ferrari was at this event and I think we're talking about new owners and I remember he said there's two type of Ferrari owners, the guys are buying new cars and the guys like us that had the old classic ones and that they were totally different animals.
