I'll be splitting hairs here but I consider it to be a commercial flight. People paid money to go flying. The company flying the craft purely exists to fly people to the edge of space and back. I can fly in a "commercial" airliner (American/Delta/Air Canada/etc)
to go from one end of the country to the other simply to visit my sister. I didn't bring her anything, just myself (usually the case). The commerce is the act of any one of those companies bringing me there and back home. Same thing here.
Maybe bringing payloads like supplies and science experiments would be considered commercial transport?... Musk is just being a good businessman - maximizing the use of his space craft. More launches = more experience = more future space flight business.
Yeah, it's cool. I am intrigued with space flight and if I was wealthy enough, I would consider it. Sure, one could take one of those "vomit-comet" flights and experience a similar "anti-gravity" sensation but it's short lived and really not the same thing.
I'm always fascinated with the stories of any astronaut, because they always say the experience is life-changing. Wow...
And I had no idea that Jon Goodwin was a serious vintage Ferrari owner. Thanks Britt for that bit of trivia!

I'm really happy that people like Jon get to live their dreams in this way. I still have issues calling this a commercial flight. They made money on the passengers but really didn't take any business to space. What Musk
is doing is commercial. Launching his own and other business payloads, taking people to the ISS, taking NASA payloads to space.
Branson and Bezos are running a amusement park ride to space and back. Fortunately, they are having better luck than Stockton Rush.
But, I did want to watch it, so it has some interest... it's flying, and for part of my life, flying was everything.
