I believe Rob Garven is the only one I know who has taken his master cylinder apart and would have separated it from the booster. He would be best to talk to so I hope he sees this email...

When I took the one apart for my truck (GM), I don't remember there being any type of rubber washer or spacer in between the pushrod.

I have a 308and have replaced the vacuum booster my question is is there a rubber washer 1/4” in diameter and round matchers the pushrod that pushrod   goes into the brake master cylinder ,when assembled it seems like with that rubber washer it preloads the master to much ,the master has has been pushed in to much !
