Ferrari Mailing List: Vacuum booster

I have a 308and have replaced the vacuum booster my question is is there a 
rubber washer 1/4” in diameter and round matchers the pushrod that pushrod   
goes into the brake master cylinder ,when assembled it seems like with that 
rubber washer it preloads the master to much ,the master has has been pushed in 
to much !
