Erik,

With all due respect, I'd say that it's hard to get excited BECAUSE of the price point.  As much as I still love the older cars (30 years +), after all my years circling on the fringes of the Ferrari world, I've become horribly disenamoured (if that's a word) with Ferrari and the utterly arrogant way they do business.

FWIW, YMMV, yadda yadda....

Knowing what technology and supply base they are using, it is hard to get
excited over a disposable consumer good, regardless of the price point.
