Ferrari Mailing List: Something insane in Ferrari world

I just noticed that the price of an oil filter for my 512tr has gone from 150.00 pounds (plus tax at 20 or 25%) to 327.00 pounds plus tax…….. Thankfully I have one spare one I bought two month ago at the cheaper price. Both Marenellos and Superformance have the same price for a UFI….. so the guys in the USA are paying this ( with a weaker dollar) , and tariffs and shipping and tax….. for an oil filter? It must be over 500.00 USD ……  I’m use to Ferrari prices being nuts but ……..

Superformance has there on brand filter for about 30 pounds but I have no idea the quality, etc. And I’m guessing there are no other options…

Seriously, is there anything remotely salvageable there, not even a transaxle or long block that has been in an oven?
