| Yeah, oddly that’s true! I did some research and found a series of post on Ferrari Chat that seemed to indicate that the oil filter for a 599 should fit and work fine for the 512TR. Plus those filters are only about £60 so that’s six times less than the cost of the UFI 512TR filter. Just in general does anyone have an opinion if there’s any harm in fitting a different filter than the one specified exactly for the 512TR? The 599 is actually a bigger engine so it will handle plenty of oil and the fitting of the threads and diameter seems to be the same and it’s only slightly longer (7 mm) so it will fit as far as I can tell.
