What car are you enjoying down there?

Hi all,

I have only recently found some of the various Ferrari chat groups on the
net (FerrariChat, Ferrari-Talk, both browser-based, and Ferraritech and this
Ferrarilist, both e-mail based). I am not sure how many of you use all of
the others, or how they are all related to each other, or not, as the case
may be... Anyway, do you tend to use one group for certain kinds of
questions? Are the different largely groups different kind of folks? Or
what?

And since you asked, well, it's a long story, but I have a 328gt4 (not a
typo). It's a 1977 308gt4 into which we transplanted a 328 motor, changed
the mechanical injection of that to electronic sequential (using 348 rails
and injectors), did a zillion other little things and now run it all through
a MoTec M48 engine management system. It still retain the original
gearbox/transaxle, and everything all fits perfectly, and to look at the car
from the outside you would never know, until you open the engine cover.

It is a very neat and tidy job - quite elegant really, although I suppose
it's put paid to my concours d'elegance days... and so I tender my apologies
to the originality purists amongst you!

By the way, here is a technical question - anybody using silicon brake
fluid? What is your experience of this?

Cheers for now,

Grahame

P.S. I do have a bunch of other questions relating to brake upgrades, wheel
upgrades, best track tyres, efficient exhausts and other things, but I will
wait till I have these issues a bit clearer in my mind after some more
archive reading and digging around!
