Nope. Renault's big advantage has been the Michelin tires. Just before the US GP Bridgestone found something and Michelin appears to have gone a bit down the wrong path. The damper helped some, but other cars had it too, including Ferrari. On top of that, I feel Alonso is starting to feel the pressure. It is much easier to be the chaser or the dominator, than it is to be chased -- especially when you've had some much success at a young age. Some of his recent comments sound like someone whistling in a graveyard. That's good news for Ferrari. Do you think that's the overwhelming reason for Renaults dominance over the past 2 years? Alonzo certainly knows how to drive a GP car at 10/10ths... This may be more of a psychological disadvantage for Renault.
