Hello Dennis, Deep,

I realize with 20/20 hindsight that I posted an inflammatory note and for
that I apologize. I might just have well posted, "Porsches rule!" :-)
What I did do is write my thoughts at the time - and without thinking.
     Comments follow.

Of course he did - independent of guilt or innocence - just as basketball
players sometimes throw themselves to the floor feigning foul, hoping for a
free throw, or as baseball players yell in the ump's face knowing, or at
least believing, that they are fully in the right. Its all part of the game
(read: circus). Its also part of human nature. I like nature. It's the
'human'
part I dislike. Yes, it is natural and I too am as guilty as the next
schmuck.
  I just dislike it.
I guess the other thing that bothers me is the disrespect these little
twerp drivers have for, well, everything and everyone. Yes, a few
are fairly nice people but most I have met are self-important jerks. You
know; humans. If the fans could hear their derogatory comments as they
  smile and wave...
Have I lost faith in Formula 1, now that I work a few races? No. Its the
power of so few to manipulate SO many people that I rather enjoy watching.
And of course, the real reason I'm there: I love the machines.
I should also add that the engineers and mechanics on all of the teams
are really nice people. Ferrari to Minardi (historical reference there), the
  workers are genuine.

...which really was my only point of the original post.

  Happy Monday!
