Hi,

While I can't comment on what happened to Alonso, I
will say that bad officiating is a huge problem in
sports. So if Ferrari wins another championship due
to some help from the FIA then it just wont be that
memorable.

I am a fan of the Steelers but I felt that the
officiating in the Superbowl without a doubt went
their way to the detriment of the Seahawks. I feel
the league did that because the Steelers are one of
the NFLs premier fan base teams, the "Bus" was
retiring in his hometown, a bigger money maker for the
league. Frankly, their victory was bit like eating
sweet & sour chiken at a chinese restaurant.

How about the Heat's victory over the Mavs. One team
not only got on a roll but was also given the benefit
of the doubt on several questionable foul calls at
critical points in the series. Why did it happen,
simple Wade is the likely to become the next Jordan.
More star power on the Heat side, Pat Riley and Shaq.
The league knows it can make way more money with a
championship Heat team then with a Mav's team.
Besides no one likes the Mav's owner.

So what would make F1 any different, just trying to
make the most bang for the buck. It is the FIAs way
of saying to Schumacher thanks for being the greatest
F1 driver of all times. Understandable when you
realize that like every other sport where the big
bucks flow, the show is more important than the
sporting event.

Just my two cents.
