Hmmm...

You haven't seen high school football around here.  The
coaches routinely recruit out of the area, and supply
room and board for the imported players.  There was
recently a case where a family was given moving expenses
so that their son could play at a particular school.  All
of this done discreetly and in a way that (hopefully) won't
spoil the so-called amateur status of the school and
players.

And I won't even begin to mention referees.........
