Re: 12-15 Capacity Mags--Guns etc.

After living and working in the New York City area for more than 25 years,
and especially since Giuliani really cleaned things up, I am always amazed at
the stories about crime in some of the mid-sized cities in this country.

And I really appreciate that New York's reputation is far worse than its
reality. Sure, there are some places that you don't want to find yourself at
the wrong time of night, but NYC is not even in the top 100 cities in the
country for crime. Who would ever guess that?

Hey M: Move to where? you'll find this kind of shit going on in every large
city in the nation. The police are not there to protect you from harm. Our
beloved courts have seen to that with 'Probable Cause' and 'Miranda' et al.
Every now and then we got lucky and were able to prevent a crime from
happening, but 95% of the time we arrived at the scene after the fact and
only wrote a report for the detectives to follow up on. I have a carry
permit and wouldn't leave home without it. 25 miles up the road is Hot
Springs, which is full of drugs and crime. It's a town of 35,000 but is
averaging a homicide a week. As I've always said, "Better to judged by
12....than be carried by 6." Get my drift?

It sounds like you live in a shit hole. Why don't you move?

get yourself into that type of situation where you need a gun. Just read the

recent story in the Commercial Appeal about a small town girl in Dumas AR (I

believe) called her mother said she was on her way home, driving home in the

early evening and ran out of gas. They found her body a week later. I have
two
daughters one will not carry so I bought her a Streamlight flashlight to
shine
in an attackers eyes and real mace. The other just turned 21 and she will
carry.

you'll get will be for your dead body. In my City, there are the bump and

purposeful minor accidents, everyone stops to swap insurance information,
and
you're dead or hurt. I know for some of us it is hard to think like that but

we're not committing the crime or doing these awful things. Drug addicts
will do
ANYTHING for more drugs, and your life means nothing to them.

anywhere but at work to have a deadly situation.
