Steve,
The M5 is a great car ... I am more of a Mercedes-Benz person and personally would opt for an 03 E55 AMG with 469 hp. & 516 ft.-lb. torque for about the same money. But an M5 is a great way to haul 4 people around in comfort, safety and speed! I think the price seems a bit high for the mileage, although the warranty is a plus that cannot easily be duplicated in the aftermarket ... but for just a few dollars more I can get you about 38K LESS miles! http://www.buxtonmotorsports.com/10.php

I'm looking at a BMW M5 that my across the street neighbor is selling. It's
a 2003, Black/Black, with 41K miles on it. I drove it today, and my neighbor
is letting me keep it over night, so I'm driving it out to dinner with
fellow lister Dave Quick.

It has loads of options (PDC, heated seats, nav, rear and side shades,
sunroof, euro-style turn signals). He's asking 49K. Is it worth it? Still
got 1 year / 10K miles of warranty. NADA.com says 51,675 is avg retail, and
45,975 is avg trade in. He's not trading it in, and has it listed for sale
in the paper.

It was a BLAST to drive today, esp when I turned off the DSC!!!!!!!!!

Thoughts on this car from those who are Bimmer experts?

Steve
