Afterthought...Oh, and Rodney, I'm not just going by published numbers. I don't know what the published numbers are for the '98 328iS, for example, but I know that it "felt" fast enough, but also too big and (in my view) unnecessarily heavy/cumbersome. If I were making $70k or so per year I could probably "afford" to get a Ferrari again and not have to worry about maintenance expenses, etc. (although there's ALWAYS some kind of "budget" to consider) but that's my problem...suffice it to say that I go a lot by seat of the pants feel, I'm just trying to use numbers to get qualfiying cars for the "short list". Regards, Tom Tulsa, OK P.S. If I had one car to choose from, it would probably either be a '93 or '94 RS America or a 365GTC/4. Or a 365GTC. :) ----- Original Message ----- From: <LtWacko [at] aol.com> To: "Tom Reynolds" <kjtar [at] cox.net> Cc: "The FerrariList" <ferrari [at] ferrarilist.com> Sent: Thursday, November 23, 2006 2:03 PM Subject: Re: [Ferrari] Road tested '98 328iS 5 speed today > > Jeez, sounds like the only cars left to chose from in the budget are a > hopped up Miata, an M Z3 or a an S 2000. > > I don't think I have to describe the performance characteristics of any of > these vehicles on this list.
