I agree completely and apologize to you and the list if I was a bit over the top there. Sigh. Since we're on the topic, what do you think about these as possibilities? Z32 300 ZX If you thought the E36 M3 was a pig... SC300 Very popular with a Supra turbo motor swap. Find one with a five speed and you will love it once it once it's turbocharged. No probelms all day long. 911SC I love these cars. Same insane nuances as owning an F car. 944 turbo (951) Some of my best memories getting pulled over in this car. It's a classic and I think a really great bargain. I don't care what some of the hard core 911 guys say. 944S2 Again, I just love the 944/951 chassis. for dependability, fun, (relative) low maintenance/service/parts cost, and of course, the most important, probably, the GRIN factor? I hate to say it but the "Toyota" factor always measures in. The SC with a Supra swap it just dead reliable. Also the Porsche when you stay ahead of the maintenance but that too can be $$$. I really don't care for Nissans. Great cars but I really have liked any of their cars since the last rear drive Maxima. Everything you could do to a 280ZX motor could be done to a station wagon maxima... and we did it to my Aunt's '84 wagon. Can you say fun?!?!??! We use to drag race for money with it... LOL That's a post for later... Seems like you need four seats though from your choices even if the rear two are tiny. Hmmm... modified SC300 but that could break your budget. Thanks again, and sorry for that, dude. Just eat some of that turkey and go into a food coma. I don't take anything from this list seriously anyway. You people drive Ferrari's for goodness sake! (it's a joke people) Best, Tom P.S. And still thinking about Dave's Mondial coupe, but I'd have to get another job...or ditch the wife...(tongue in cheek) Rodney PS. If you ditch the wife, you won't be able to afford a Yugo... get another job.
