Re: First drive in my 328 GTS

If somebody could dig up my first drive posts for Jim Slove's 328 (November
2001), and Larry B's 512 TR (February 2002)...it would be welcome nostalgia,
and much appreciated by Jim.

I wasn't on the list to write up about Lashdeep's former 348 (July 2004),
and I wouldn't attempt to recreate the moment, except to say it was a fun
drive, and the car smashed all negative stereotypes associated with it...

Because of that drive, my entry level V8 would most likely be a 348.

Got to drive a 430 this summer....a nice car, but the F1 transmission took
away quite a bit. Car makes a great sound, and is pretty fast, but lacks the
rawness I like in an exotic car.

Can't believe it's been around 5 years since those first drives....wow.

Rui,

Congrats!
I agree with Steve J on this, but for different reasons. As I do not have
my
first Ferrari YET, I must live vicariously through the List members who
do.
So I thank you for the post.
As to the *senior* F-car owners on the list, I would encourage the
occasional post as to a good experience behind the wheel or even in the
passenger seat. It gets this Ferrarigeek excited.
:)
