Thanks to all that replied...I hadn't remembered there being an "official"

Does anyone prefer the euro covered lamps? I am really liking that over
the flip ups...

LS

I sure do. The flip ups were just a compromise to pass the arcane US "safety regulations" extant at the time. ( The American Sealed Beam Lobby)

You couldn't have covered headlamps. Same thing with the old Alfa Spiders, Citroens etc. Same thing with those horrible rubber baby buggy bumpers on some 308 models.

Many of us have been to Europe, I wonder has anyone seen masses of bodies piled at roadside, dead from exposure to headlamp covers, smaller bumpers or unpasteurized cheese? I know millions of European deaths have occurred from speeding. Not accidents - just once you get much beyond 70 mph speed just flat out kills you...."buffeting, buffeting; I'm gonna push the stick forward...shake shake shake..."

Ken's Theory of Relativity:

Captain Kirk and Mr.Spock enter their spaceships. Kirk goes left, Spock goes right. Both travel at the speed of light.

Q: How fast is Kirk leaving Mr. Spock?
