Ric,
Check out this eBay listing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-Testarossa-OEM-Rims-1979-Set-of-4_W0QQitemZ120058310599QQihZ002QQcategoryZ43956QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The wheels look like early TR which someone adapted to some other vehicle - bolt in spacer? The 1979 date seems in error.

I checked with them, and they're at $4000 + shipping, if I recall correctly. That puts the cost with shipping and tires at around $5,500... more than I wanted to spend, if I can help it.
Maybe I'm spoiled by my 360, but 360 OEM wheels are running $1500 with tires on Ebay...

Hi Ric,
Try Compomotive Wheels. The last time I checked, a set of "TS" - 17" center hub wheels to fit my 512BBi were around $2,000 for a set of four. It's a 3-piece wheel that is very similiar in style to a "288 GTO" wheel. They also make them in 16" or 18" sizes too. http://www.usacomp.com/ts.htm
They will machine the wheels in England to fit your TR center lock hubs and then ship them to their USA distributor.
Gary

http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/gary%40garyreedsales.comI have an 1985 TR that I've recently completed a large amount of mechanical and cosmetic restoration. I've rebuilt the motor and transmission and also have replaced the fuel system with EFI using a Motec M48 engine controller. However, I can't even tune my EFI! The problem is, my (crappy) TRX metric tires are completely rotted from use and age. I have no interest in buying another set of TRX tires, but instead would like something a little more standard.
I've had no luck locating stock 16's, and the 17's and 18's that I've found are just too pricey (~10% the value of the car). OEM 16's would come up from time to time on Ebay, but I haven't seen any in many months. I will gladly pay a finders fee to anyone for information that results in my acquisition of a set of OEM 16's for this car. Please make sure to remember, they are the single-lug, spline-drive wheels, not the 5-bolt as used on the later TRs.
Thanks, RR
