ATTN: Ric Rainbolt Ric, the Ebay wheels look like the center splined hub is missing. The 5 bolts you see in the photo actually fasten the hub to the wheel. The splined hub is usually the part of the wheel that either gets damaged, or scavenged for some other wheel application. The hubs are pretty rare. If the wheels advertised on eBay are in fact Testarossa wheels (1985) and not 512BB wheels (1979), which look very similar, you could buy the wheels, remove the splined hubs from your metric wheels, and bolt them in place on the 16 inch wheels. Only the metric tires, like TRX's fit the metric wheels. A 16 inch tire will not fit on the metric wheels you have. You need the 16 wheel for the 16 inch tire. I think Coker Tire make metric TRX tire for about $400 a copy. That may be a better solution than $4000 for a new set of 16's, plus tires.. The 1979 date seems in error. Ric Rainbolt wrote: >I checked with them, and they're at $4000 + shipping, if I recall >correctly.
