Seeing those cheap, floating-caliper Corvette brakes with a Brembo 
logo on them really turns my stomach. I'll bet Brembo's probably not 
too thrilled either.

My biggest problem with clone cars is the overly overt attempt at 
passing them off for the real item... something they're definitely 
are not. Bdges and labels everywhere, Brembo on the brakes, etc. Most 
of the Ferrari-clone kit cars I see have 3x to 4x the number of 
Ferrari insignia on them than a *Real* Ferrari. In the case where the 
car is shoddily built, I think the potential to harm Ferrari or Lambo 
(or even Brembo) exists. While most of us "car types" would recognize 
the difference, I'm not sure the vast population would know if what 
they were looking at was a legitimate item.

IMHO, Ferrari and Lambo should vigorously defend their IP rights in 
these cases.
