Clyde? <lurk mode off> There are a few things that can be done: 1) call a breakdown service 2) pre-fill the tyre with "goo" which seals any punctures when they happen. I don't like this method as it leaves the wheels very messy and it's generally a good idea to know you've got a puncture; the goo can mask it completely. 3) ride on. If it's a rear puncture, you can generally get away with it (unless it's deflating at an alarming rate). With a front puncture, you're not going to go far though unless air loss is minimal. What I've found with the numerous punctures I've had is that whatever gives you the puncture tends to stay in the tyre and the air loss is very small - enough for me to get home. Overnight, the tyre deflates and in the morning I'll use a foot pump to inflate it enough so that I can ride to my nearest bike dealer. Anyway, probably far more detail than you ever wanted :) Regards, Andrew -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
