Hey Rick: My first sports car was a 1953 Jaguar XK120MC, with the Rudge spoke
knock-off wheels, White with American blue racing stripes, and triple SU
side-draft carbs (C-Type head). I bought it in 1957 for $2k, and it was the
first car I drove 120+ mph in, on the way to Vegas one Friday night. I'll never
forget it, as it got me hooked on sports car racing. Up til that time, I
thought that sprint cars and Indy were the ultimate form of racing. Foolish me.

Subject: [Ferrari] NFC: classic jaguar

Hey fellow FerrariList folks,
Like many of you, I am a car lover, not just an Ferrari lover. I have a
pile of cars although not as many as I used to own.
I am about to buy a 1960 Jaguar Mk-II. This will be far from my first
Jaguar but it will now be my only Jag.
Any of you classic Jag owners too? Please respond and we can take the
ensuing discussion off-line.

  Regards,
