To me the run of the mill 328 is better than the run of the mill 308...the
consistency level of 328s is very high, whereas with 308s it's all over the
place. I'm talking about engine performance here.

But the best 308, IMHO is nicer than the best 328...even if it's not
quicker, it looks nicer.

Euro spec, euro spoiler, carb car , glass or steel, 16" QV rims, in the
right color combo is impressive!

I'd say you come across these sorts of cars very rarely, but when you do, it
definitely catches your attention.

If I were you, as much as I like nice carb 308s, perhaps get a 328 first,
then a carbed 308 later if you're still inclined. A good carb 308 will
require a combination of patience, wallet, and luck...
