Normally when I forget a word, it appears after a good sleep but this one has been eluding me for a week.
(ok here we go...)
Oregon's - Speed Law. In the 70's we had the ability to LEGALLY exceed 55 if the conditions were safe. And if they were bad the legal speed was less than 55. California had a highway 65mph limit but when crossing the border north into Oregon you could safely (cop-wise) bump it to 70mph. Even 90 in spots.
Question - what was Oregons then speed law called?
(this law was later trumped but the Federal 55)
