Fellippe,
I could also be something as simple as the laptop is set to use the external video port.. Either plug in a monitor to the VGA port on the back, or you can hit whatever the key combination on your keyboard supports to toggle back to the LCD screen.. Most are something like FN key and F2 or F4 or something.. there should be a picture of a monitor on the key. Just hold down the FN key and hit whatever key has the picture of the monitor on it and it may get you back in business..

Quite simply my laptop will not bootup...you get the startup screen 2-3 seconds after turning the computer on, then after that's done, the screen goes blank and stays that way.
I'm figuring this has to be a straightforward problem since it just happened out of nowhere with the computer running fine otherwise.
