Fellippe,

I could also be something as simple as the laptop is set to use the external
video port.. Either plug in a monitor to the VGA port on the back, or you
can hit whatever the key combination on your keyboard supports to toggle
back to the LCD screen.. Most are something like FN key and F2 or F4 or
something.. there should be a picture of a monitor on the key. Just hold
down the FN key and hit whatever key has the picture of the monitor on it
and it may get you back in business..

Hey guys,

Quite simply my laptop will not bootup...you get the startup screen 2-3
seconds after turning the computer on, then after that's done, the screen
goes blank and stays that way.

I'm figuring this has to be a straightforward problem since it just
happened
out of nowhere with the computer running fine otherwise.

Appreciate the ideas...

thanks,

Fellippe
