Tom,
True, but anything you own is going to run you an average of $1,000 a year when it is all said and done. Tires, brakes, oil changes, etc. all factor into the average. So you spend $1,000 a year on a Camaro/M3/944 Porsche, etc. or $5K all at once every 6 years on the Ferrari? And why not do a majority of the work yourself? If you have the free time to look for something as much as you do you can certainly get into maintenance on your own. Most cars you are looking at (M3's, Porsche 944's or 928's, Miatas, Camaros, etc.) are 10+ years old and are going to cost money to maintain. If you want a car with minimal maintenance costs buy something brand new. Just trying to help. I know you are a car guy and I hate to watch you chase your tail (you'll never catch it).

Brian,
Can you understand 'MAINTENANCE COSTS'? Like I previously said, if I had the downstroke and could afford the maintenance, I'd either A) still have Mario or B) have bought Dave's/Rick's/Matt's Euro Mondial. Sincerely,
Tom
