Congratulations. You've found, perhaps, the most difficult task to do on the whole car.

You'll need an 8mm wobble socket on a 1/4 inch drive. I found that having an 8mm shallow wobble socket and an 8mm deep wobble socket works best. Also, you'll need about a 12 inch long 1/4 extension.

What you need to do is to remove the studs using the "double-nut" method. If you're patient and have a good touch, it will take you about 1-2 hours to get those things off... including 3-4 sessions of violent outbursts of profanity and throwing hand tools. Keep plenty of beer handy.

It can be done... I've done it several times.

I think a nation-wide list get together is a GREAT idea.

Needs to be near a city with a major "hub" airport.

Needs to be somewhat centrally located for people across the country.

Needs to be a sweet track.

Needs to be near a city were SteveJ has a vacation home where he can host a
party. :)

Guys we can rent a track that will allow cars and bikes

CMS is one of those tracks we use it every year for bikes only

But I know cars run there as well

The cheaper days are always during the week like Mondays

I can get the info and start working on this for a fall event

Your thoughts?

And yes I like the damn jacket !
