        answered and car is home!

Rack it turns out is fine... it was just a dry "ball" where it goes throught
the firewall.... 2 minutes with an oil can and it's now pin-point perfect...

Headlamp will be dirty contacts throught lack of use... he had used the
lights twice in 7 years!!! lol

It's had a fully service done 600 miles (1 year) ago... including, new cam
belts and cam seals, new cam tentioners, new crank seals, new clutch, new
battery, new front tyres, complete wheel alingment, all brake calpiers
rebuilt, all new pads, all discs machined, flywheel skimed, all pipes
replaced in engine bay, carbs cleaned and tuned, new oils and filters, brake
fluid and cooling system flushed, bushes in swaybars replaced, AC compressor
rebuilt and regased.. and engine compression test which came back
perfect...all by the main agent Continental Cars of Auckland.

Two years ago it got a full bare metal respray with photographic record
where no accident reparis were found and only one small old rust repair in
one front wheel arch flare about the size of a thumb nail that was taken
right out the metaled over...

And the provious owner... (7 years ago Allan Cattle of AFE the independant
Ferrari servce agents) rebuild the shocks and fitted new springs, fitted
GTS rear sway bar, low front spolier, fitted stainless exhaust valves honed
the bore and fitted new rings.... and fitted the correct period optional 16
inch Ferrari wheels and upgraded the front brake calipers and locally built
stainless sports muffler.

It's has a total of 60000 miles on the clock with full docs and history,
books, jack and tool kit.

So I am really quite happy that I have done all I can to get a good one :)

Having said that the exhaust pipe has broken and it now sounds like a
truck!!! But thats to be expected with an old car and an easy fix....

Yesterday I bought the (original from my car) high front spolier from Allan
which will be better for the rough roads where I live!

I had a great drive home yesterday, that car is more than I expected in
every way.

Regards
Gavin
