Not many 1957 Chrysler products survive to this day because the production
quality was so bad.  The most famous problem was that the exterior door
handles would fall into the door if you slammed them shut.  Why would this
car have been the exception since it was exposed to 50 years of dampness?
Somebody was dreaming.
