Same thing happened to my 328 driver side window switch. Took it out,
cleaned it, put it back together, and it works fine. Try that first. :)

Dunno about the 308, but on the 328 a single Phillips screw removes the
panel on the door handle near the switch. Put your hand in where the panel
opened, push out the switch, then unplug it.

What I have found is that the switch contacts get corroded enough to
not allow enough current to the motor.  Fix is to remove, disassemble,
clean contacts and reinstall.  On my '78 308GTS removal is fairly easy.
 Just pull the switch out.  Usually, the trim cover gets detached, but
that can be re-glued.  Then pry apart the switch, clean the contacts
with emery paper or something similar, and reassemble, reinstall.  Pay
particular attention to what wires go on what terminal.  Or you can
simply buy another switch.  You can get them on eBay, or at T. Rutlands.

I initially bought new switches.  Now I just clean them up and reinstall.
