Hi,
yesterday I was invited to a prelaunch party for the new Grand Turismo. 
Maserati UK had gotten hold of a new Grand Turismo (which I am assuming was 
preproduction spec but noby could say) and held a launch party here in the 
Midlands. 
The car is absolutely beautiful and the nose has a strong hint of MC12. The 
interior is very similar to the Quattraporte which is to say it look great. Its 
a two door 2+2 and being 6' tall I was able to sit in the back with somebody 
in the passenger seat and just about make it although the head room was tight. 
Its quite a big car, noticibly bigger than the 4200. We were told that 
Maserati plans to make a folding hardtop version which will eliminate the two 
rear 
seats.

When you get a chance to view this car in person take it up. The car looks 
even better in person than it does in pictures and while some of the detailing 
is not perfect the overall car is stunning and being priced at the same level 
as a AM V8 I would definitely take the Grand Turismo. Here in the UK the car is 
set to officially launch in October, dont know when it will hit the states 
but for the price of a used 550 its a heck of a car!
