Think of things like the $20 something million verdict for Wrongful  
Birth that was awarded against Florida this week - which would have  
come out of my taxes (and probably will) or the $101 million verdict  
for the guys framed by the FBI which was announced today -- which as  
a result of Soverign Immunity can only be paid via a VOTE of our  
representatives.  (That probably will be paid, but at a reduced  
amount).  Not to mention things like frivolous lawsuits for police  
misconduct and inoperative traffic lights and the like which would  
otherwise come out of - and therefore increase - your tax burden.
